Send A Sighting Report
Please forward any sighting within or near the borders of Cheshire in the last 6 months. If the sighting is not actually in the Mid Cheshire area this is not a problem as we record the data for some of the other groups and we can also forward the information to the Cheshire groups that we do not record for. You do not need to be a member to report a sighting.
A sighting of a dead barn owl or a report of barn owl found injured is also very important to our work as this may highlight an area requiring attention, so please feel free to report these here.
So if you have seen a barn owl, we would very much like to know about it including where, when (OS map ref if possible) and what the barn owl was doing – e.g. “flying low carrying a small mammal in it’s talons” or just “flew across the road from North to South”. If you would like to contact us for any other reason then please feel free to do so.
